Lent at Holy Trinity Church

This Lent, Turn Your Heart Toward God: Pursue Peace and Holiness

Peace? Holiness? How?

This year's theme for Lent at Holy Trinity Church is "Pursue Peace and Holiness." With these two essential Christian tenets and virtues so lacking in today's world, the best place to start is in our own heart, where Jesus says we will find the Kingdom of God (Luke 17.21) and the peace and holiness we are called to live and witness.

One of the most powerful ways we experience both in the Orthodox Church is through worship. Many services begin with the Great Litany's call, "In peace let us pray to the Lord." During Lent there are many special oppotunities to do so as a community of faith and the Body of Christ. Please join us! A complete schedule of Lenten service can be found by clicking on the image above or here. Not on the journey yet? Why not start today?
