December 10, 2006: Special General Assembly approves purchase of 10 acres of prime land in the North Hills by a 93% Majority.


A Special General Assembly of Holy Trinity Church convened on Sunday, December 10, 2006, to consider purchasing a new property for a potential new home for Holy Trinity Church. The assembly, pictured above, voted overwhelmingly to approve the purchase by a 93% majority.

The assembly passed the following motion:
"a) To purchase the property owned by La Roche College at Babcock Boulevard and Cumberland Road at a price of $1,050,000 (one-million, fifty-thousand dollars).
b) To authorize the expenditure of up to $50,000 for civil engineering and architectural services needed for due diligence, site plan development related to the property and a fund-raising plan."
