About this MinistryIn John 3.1-16, Nikodemos engages Jesus in an intense discussion of faith, seeking answers to important questions. The discussion in that Gospel passage demonstrates both the zeal for the knowledge of God in heart of a man named Nikodemos and the desire of Jesus Christ to reveal the love and knowledge of the Father to Him. Today, men still seek Christ with a fervent desire to live as husbands, fathers and co-workers in a way that fulfills the calling of God. Unfortunately, the opportunities to grow and share in meaningful ways with other Orthodox Christians are sometimes limited. The Saint Nikodemos Men’s Study Fellowship began in 1999 to provide working men an opportunity to share in fellowship, study scripture and discuss issues of contemporary life in the light of the Orthodox Christian Faith. It is located in downtown Pittsburgh to provide easy and centralized access for men who are willing to sacrifice their lunch hour twice a month for spiritual food that truly nourishes the soul.
