"Raise Up the Foundation of Many Generations"
(Isaiah 58:12)

It's an exciting time for our Holy Trinity family as we continue on the path to the fulfillment of God's vision for the present, future and ministries of this parish. Having been blessed to be able to purchase a magnificent 10-acres parcel of land in a pastoral North Hills setting, we are moving forward!

The Theme

The theme “Raise up the Foundations of Many Generations” is truly a gift with many blessings and points of inspiration for us. Here are just a few highlights to hold in our hearts and minds as we move forward together:

• “Raise Up”: We at Holy Trinity Church are already standing on the foundations which have been laid for us by the ancestors of the Faith (the foundations of the Faith) and by our parents and grandparents (the founders of Holy Trinity  parish). To raise them up is to stand firmly on what they have provided and to glorify God by taking it to the next level.
• “The Foundations”: We are indeed preparing to lay new foundations with bricks and mortar, but they are being laid to provide the foundations for the greater mission of the Church. Those sacred buildings will provide many touchpoints for stronger and exciting new ministries, new relationships with the surrounding community and new opportunities for Orthodoxy in the North Hills. In all these endeavors, we stand firmly on the foundations of two thousand years of Orthodox Christianity and the holy fathers and mothers who have given it to us as a precious inheritance.
• “Of Many Generations”:  Holy Trinity Church indeed comprises many generations: from our beloved grandparents to the great grandchildren yet to come, all connected by faith and family. By accepting the challenge, we honor the work and sacrifice of previous generations by stepping up and providing it for many future generations. And in preparing for “many generations,” we are reminded that we must be thoughtful, serious and responsible in building a solid home that is build to last for many years to come.
