The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Pittsburgh is the local administrative center of the Greek Orthodox parishes of Pennsylvania (except the Delaware Valley), Eastern Ohio and West Virginia. The Metropolis is a part of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and is under the jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Constantinople.

In addition to the spiritual and administrative leadership of the Metropolitan, the Metropolis provides various ministries and services for Greek Orthodox Christians throughout the region. Information on these mnistries and services can be found by calling either the local parish or the Metropolis office.

The Youth and Young Adult Ministries Office coordinates and is the main source of information for the following programs: Metropolis Summer Camp, Athletic Tournaments, GOYA Retreats, Oratorical Festivals, Dance Festivals, Campus Ministry, Mission trips and more.

The Metropolis newspaper, The Illuminator, is mailed several times a year to all member families of the parishes in the Metropolis. Information and photographs of local events may be submitted to the Metropolis at the address above or at illuminator@odpgh.org.
